Architectural Ceiling Systems has been trading for over thirty years. Business commenced in 1964 as a contracting company in the Wall and Ceiling Industry. It was realised early in the company's history that the demand for highly technical products was increasing. ACS became, as a consequence, a leader in the design of new and innovative products.

Gradually the manufacturing base grew and its potential was realised. Whilst maintaining a strong presence in the contracting arena ACS expanded its marketing endeavours Australia wide and committed heavily to expansion by exporting to International markets. This has seen an ever increasing growth, with the necessity to devise and innovate manufacturing techniques and specialised machinery. In 1973 the companies were incorporated into their respective divisions.
