The HEAFOD GROUP has established a 'state of the art' acoustic testing laboratory at its premises in Bayswater, Western Australia.  All testing is independently carried out by Acoustic Laboratories Australia Pty Ltd.

The laboratory facilitates the determination of sound absorption co-efficients and the room to room sound attenuation of all ceiling products.

The ability to independently test all ceiling products not only provides specifiers with a high level of confidence in relation to acoustic performance, but also counteracts the degree of misleading information provided with certain products supported by glossy brochures.  Therefore claims which appear to give an advantage over other products can be fully tested.

In addition to ceiling products, the laboratory facilitates the acoustic testing of virtually any product used in the construction industry.
